Every one says i am beautiful and unique and they love my hair and that i could be a model. One thing tho… I am 5feet 8 and 170 pounds. I know i am over weight but i can’t get the motivation to lose weight. Btw, i am 13 years old. I just want a good future. Be nice.

1. First start by getting up earlier than usual. Around 5:30 AM to do some of you workouts. Getting up early shocks your metabolism because the body needs more energy to get going. Right? This will start your system on the road to weight loss. That early start with about 10 minutes of stretching. Have a cup of coffee to get the blood going also.

2. Do all the sit-ups you can. Just do them. 15 or 20 whatever, we don’t have a lot of time to work with. Rest 1 minute repeat, do this for 6 sets. Already you are breathing hard and feel worn, because the body is working extra hard at being up earlier and then going right into exercise. If the early morning hour lets you get your cardio in, go ahead and do it. 30 minutes.

3. Diet. Cut all current meal portions in half, just cut them in half, nothing fancy or complicated, CUT IN HALF! Cut out all bread products, all gravies, candies, chips, night snacks, etc. If you crave at night eat a banana, other fruit or best a non-fat yogurt. There are some tasty ones out there.

4. In the evening do another 6 sets of sit-ups maxing out each set. Cardio again. The trick is to stay with getting up earlier. Yes it’s hard, that’s why it is so effective. Why do you think the Army gets up so early, it is intense training to the max.

Weight is a big issue for many people, especially those trying to lose it. I checked out acai berry and it certainly worked for me. There is a free trial on currently at http://pitash.fatburntoday.info , try it, how worse could it make things?

I have this problem too. I am only 5′3 and I weight 140… I just get my butt out of bed early in the morning and go to the gym then I can come home and go back to bed if I want but I usually don’t because working out makes me feel good and gets me motivated.

Losing weight needs to be for you and you alone. Mainly the best reason in my opinion for you is so that in your future you don’t feel crappy and out of shape.

Your best time to try and lose weight would be now because you can get your metabolism faster now than if you were 23 and it only gets more difficult.

Just focus on what you want, not what you have to do. Picture yourself doing all the stuff that you want to do (Go to the beach, wear cuter clothes, etc) and focus on that.

The easiest way I found to help me lose weight is to stop eating at least 5 hours before bedtime. Also, you can eat regular stuff, but stay away from the obviously fattening foods, like cake, soda, and all that stuff.

It’s not as hard as you think. Your body will tend to hover around a comfortable weight if you eat well & stay active. The trick is to stay away from junk food – candy, soda, McD’s…anything that has ingredients that read like a chemistry exam. Just eat natural, whole foods.
And don’t starve! Doesn’t help. Try to eat small meals/snax every few hours.

And the active part – it doesn’t have to be in a gym. Hike, dance, ride a bike. It’s great if you join a team. Friends keep you motivated.

You can have a great future regardless of your weight. It’s important that you know that. It is important to stay healthy though so that in the future you are able to move around as much as you’d like. I’ve learned that what I thought I wanted 10 years ago or 20 years ago is completely different than what I want now. So take care of your health by eating right, exercising daily (like walking for 30 min), and drinking lots of water. You will be surprised at how much of a difference walking for 30 min a day makes. It adds up. If you teach yourself now to maintain healthy habits, you can develop a lifelong commitment to a healthy life. I wish I would have started at 13. Take advantage now so that you don’t regret it later in life. Live life without regrets and make choices that you can live with for the rest of your life. You can do ANYTHING if you make it your goal and stick with it.

Firstly just because someone is THIN doesn’t mean they are healthy.
Example…My brother in law is thin…but eats McDonalds like 5 times a week. Now his heart is messed up. From the outside he appears "healthy"

If you eat well and take care of yourself, getting lots of vitamins through fruit, veggies Etc then you will be ok.

Do you need to lose weight? I wouldn’t worry about it. Your only 13 years old. Love yourself.

Loosing weight fast is always an unhealthy thing.
There are many diets who tell you that you can loose a lot of weight in no time. And it is working, but you are doing no good to your body. And there’s also the Jojo-effect.
The best thing to loose and hold a healthy weight is healthy food, less sugar, lots of drinking water, and sports.
Diet has to begin in your head. And you already started to think about your nutrition. That’s an important step. It is too easy just to make a magazine-diet for 2-3 weeks and loose some weight. But it will come back soon again. If you are over-thinking your nutrition and activity, you will have a constantly good result. Isn’t that much better and healthier than a crash-diet ?

    Take care,

    :-)
