5 ways to encourage creativity?

My daughter is 1 1/2 and she is amazing with creativity already. She colors and dances.. Its amazing, but if you choose not to start at such a young age, they may not grasp it as easily. When they are young everything tends to stick in their heads right away. So it sticks with them as they get older..

I say start young, and keep refreshing their memory, by repeating what you have done. So when they get older they wont have to re learn it. It will just come natural to them

I mean, are they dependent, independent, or related in another fashion?

I would just like to figure out if a "one-minded" really creative person has the capacity to be as analytical as anyone else and whether in doing so, that person can retain all of his/her creativity?

Thanks.

Successful people need both just like businessman. One person can not be successful being "one minded". I believe if one is exclusively analytical then the mind will never come up with anything new, it will just analyze whats already there. On the other hand, if one is just creative and no analysis all their creations will be completely useless. There is no such things as a "one minded" person as this person would not be able to function. Everyone works with both of these but some people rely on one more that the other.

I have a forum on creativity. What would be some good thread topics for it? Specific things rather than ‘a thread about writing’. What would you want to know or have help with?

Do you know of any forums or blogs that might be interested in a link swap with my creativity forum?

you can discuss the lack of culture in the people and other stuffs

good luck ; )

I need the majority (30-35) or my creativity hours for CAS still and I’m having a difficult time thinking of ideas of what to do… For those of you not familiar with CAS or IB, students are required to perform 50 hours of Creativity, Action and Service. It would be good if these ideas somehow benefit someone else…. I’m really stuck on this so thanks ahead of time!

i caught up trying to think of some ideas too!

Anyways, you can always take classes and learn something, like how to play an instrument. If you wanna do something else you can take a pottery class!

Perhaps I should have thought a bit more when creating the sims, because none have any creativity, and I am stuck not being able to make many things except for my original sim who I have had the longest. Is there any activities that will build creativity skill points?

ummmmmm i think so

After watching the Sticky and Sweet Tour (not her best at all and compare terribly to the Confessions Tour) and her latest campaign with Dolce & Gabbana I’ve noticed Madonna wants to reach out to the younger generations. Is she sacrificing her creativity in doing this?

In my opinion, yes. I have always loved Madonna and she really was a great publicist for herself, but now its time to move over. What made her famous will keep her there, but only if she sticks to her fans favorite tunes, and trust me some of us are wondering where they went.

I need something that requires creativity, on a daily basis. That everyone can relate to.

A commercial artist.

A pastry chef

A wedding planner

A web designer

A novelist

Are there any pastimes like reading and painting that will help you to develop your creativity?

Everyone is creative. We make decisions all day long. What are you interested in creatively? Follow your dreams and interests.

Does it nurture creativity and individuality? Does it encourage the child to think outside the box? Does this world need more children with the courage to be creative and individual?

Looking at the history of art and the amazing amount of Christians who have created it over the centuries, I would say that its a big plus to be a Christian!

I mean, if there’s no free will in the world, how creativity is possible? Is creativity also predefined, and we have no will upon what we create?
If you believe in a predefined world, then how come you talk about chances. Chance is nonexistent in a world that has been completely defined and set.

"Chance"; don’t overlook this factor.
